Climate FORTH: Recruiting Young Leaders now!
Inner Forth Futures (IFF) are looking to recruit volunteer Young Leaders (aged 18-25) for the Climate FORTH project this summer. The Young Leaders will be tasked with advising on and codesigning elements of the Climate FORTH project (including business engagement, future training opportunities, a microgrant scheme, social media, and approach to working with young people), as well as planning and delivering an engagement workshop for young people aged 14-17. The Young Leaders opportunity aims to fit around the interests and needs of the volunteers involved, with an emphasis on listening to and learning from young people.
Young Leaders must be aged 18-25; living, working or studying in the Inner Forth area; and have an interest in positively shaping their communities. No previous experience is necessary! We hope to have all Young Leaders appointed by the end of June 2022.
More information about the role and how to apply can be found here.
If you work with a youth group (such as a football club, afterschool activity, or youth centre) and you would like Climate FORTH’s Young Leaders to run an engagement workshop with your group, please contact Connie Dawson, Climate FORTH Project Officer – Community and Youth Development: connie.dawson@rspb.org.uk / 07516588142
