In Progress
This activity aims to facilitate discussion and learning amongst Inner Forth community groups who are involved in managing a built or natural heritage site. By supporting these groups, we will discuss what what ‘carbon net zero’ may mean for their site(s) and will inspire action to meet Scotland's Net Zero targets.
Led by Keep Scotland Beautiful on our behalf, this free training programme is open to everyone, but may have a specific relevance to those involved in the management of heritage sites.
The training programmes will include two main activities:
- Climate Conversations - discussions about the relationship between climate change and heritage, with the opportunity to identify local priorities and network
- Heritage Walk and Talks - a series of walks at various Inner Forth heritage assets. Participants will learn about potential climate risks and begin to plan for adaptation for their own sites, picking up tips and support to create their own plans.
Please check back here and our socials @innerforth to find details of our next sessions - or check out our What's On pages for more dates appearing in 2026.
