OPPORTUNITY - Invitation to Tender: Community Heritage Group Training & Mentoring

RSPB Scotland wishes to commission the creation of a training programme to be offered to people or groups within the project area who own and/or manage natural, built or cultural heritage assets, or to those who want to step up to manage an asset who may not have the required skills (real or perceived).

The programme of training and mentoring will use existing heritage assets or landscape areas as a focus for action-based learning, creating a series of in-person activities which use specific locations to look at and discuss climate change and biodiversity, identify potential hazards and impacts, and talk through steps for adaptation.

Applications should be made through Public Contracts Scotland.

The deadline for submitting tender returns is 12 noon on Friday 12th July 2024.  Please direct any queries to alice.macpherson@rspb.org.uk prior to this date.

Thanks to Lottery players, these works are funded by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Climate FORTH project has been devised by the Inner Forth Futures initiative for which the RSPB act as secreteriat.
