IFLI Woodland & Designed Landscape Study - Summary
Ironside Farrar | 2013
Summary of a detailed study focusing on mapping baseline information about the historic and current nature and distribution of woodland, hedgerows, shelterbelts and designed landscape features. Identify opportunities to restore and maintain the landscape character and biodiversity of the area.
This study was part of a series of studies commissioned by the IFLI partnership, that informed the development of the Stage 2 bid and Landscape Conservation Action Plan submitted to HLF under the Landscape Partnership Scheme programme in November 2013. The research undertaken through the studies improved the partnership's understanding of the landscape and heritage of the Inner Forth and the development of specific projects.
