James Stead
Project Manager
James began as the Climate FORTH Project Manager in October 2023 and is very excited to see the impacts the project will have on local communities and heritage in relation to their climate resilience throughout Climate FORTH’s delivery. James is responsible for overseeing the Climate FORTH project as a whole, but also specifically elements of Objective 2 relating to an increase of heritage resilience and training.
James graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a BSc Honours Degree in Animal Conservation Science. Some of his first roles were with the RSPB undertaking fieldwork before embarking on an 11-year position with the wildlife charity Froglife. During this time James worked on, or managed, six unique projects across Scotland focussed on habitat creation & restoration outputs and community engagement.
Outside of the project’s activities James likes cooking, sports and gardening.
